E- Card Demo 2
The Second in a Series
Previously I showed you this basic background file.
Fairly Basic Right?!
So time to use the Color Tools and the Gimp Plugins and Filters .
I used Oilfy and Ripple and Blur and other filters.
EXPERIMENT WITH COMBINATIONS TO CREATE NEW TEXTURES
Save the ones you like and use Undo if you don't!
I hope this image suggest ice and snow and for those of us who have Xmas in Summer living in the Southern hemisphere a pleasing abstract background.
By the way folks this is a 72 dpi 420 x 3000 file. Use it as a free e-card but you might need to do several edits if you want to print it out?
So I've taken a simple Gimp pattern and template and changed it.
Now what can you do in your art programs whether you have Gimp Photoshop or something else?
Hopefully I've given you some ideas and inspirations even if its just the thought " I can do better than that!"
Next time I add text!
