WRONG CROSS BUNS
I've seen some very strange variations on Hot Cross Buns appear in Australian stores over the last decade. You now can have chocolate chip hot cross buns for example but today I saw something that freaked me out totally.
Okay I know most people buy Hot Cross Buns simply as a YEAST FRUIT BUN and give little or no thought to its religious connotations and have probably forgotten that once you could only buy them in the week before EASTER.
this ... this however is just plain wrong!!!

Seen where? Hornsby Bakers Delight!
that's just so so so wrong...
you do not put a St Andrews Cross on Easter bread or buns!
Shame on you Bakers Delight!
hopefully the next time the correct yeast cross will be on top!
