reviewers please write about graphics

Hey reviewers could you please write about graphics capacities when reviewing new hardware and programs and PLEASE NOT JUST IN RELATION TO GAMING?
I'm just finished reading a book on speeding up applications.
To my vast annoyment the author targeted most of his remarks and techniques and tips towards gamers and photo editing.
GRRR Graphics cards and programs are not just for photo editing and running 3D games!
Some of us use them for CREATING IMAGES! Yes ART!
I would love to see a blog to how to reset my computer so that GIMP never refuses to run plugins or freezes and crashes when I'm running some fractals or how using svg programs helps create lower memory graphics that blend smoothly with (x)html and css style sheets?
Which PCs are best for creating not just running graphics please?
Think about that in relation to programs and hardware when you are reveiwing upgrades please?
