Chen has gone on vacation to Hawaii and left his demon aristocrat colleague Zhu minding his houseboat. All seems well but this is Singapore Three (its a franchise!) where a tiger devi runs a biochem firm and a mad goddess is about to cause a major earthquake and a crisis in Heaven and Hell. Welcome to a near future in which nanotech functions along with a Guild of Exorcists!
