A Haiku by HASHIN

Ten mo chi mo

Nashi tada yuki no

furi-shikiru

Both sky and earth
Nothing Only Snow
falling unendingly


Another excellent example of a Jpanese compound verb!

Furi shikuru

also a good example of mo ... mo ... paired into a conjunction and the Bungo negative form Nashi being used instead of nai.

Tada means only. Yuki is snow.
