Smoke and Rain

SMOKE AND RAIN
NSW RFS ... that's Rural Fire Service seem to have discovered a brilliant new method to create rainstorms.
Yes after fumigating most of the upper North Shore of Sydney yesterday ( September 19) thereby irritating and enraging hundreds if not thousands of people hoping to enjoy a sunny day of getting the washing dry and enjoying outdoors spring activities but hopefully denying dozens of arsonists a chance to start fires over the upcoming spring break what's the other result?
It seems all that smoke turned into clouds and now we are about to have an unforecast thunderstorm. Well that should wash away any ash I haven't already swept up!
Must dash and bring the washing in!
How did the "burnoff:" effect you?
The rain is falling down... yes I'm back from a quick dash around the unit checking windows and doors to balconies are closed ... in heavy slow drops that sound like melted hail and the thunder rumbles through the clouds but the lightning is high up and hidden.
Panicking birds are calling to nest mates that didn't make it home in time.
Bored dogs have ceased to bark and the tile son the terrace darken as the rain thickens.
What's happening to you?
IRK It was melted hail and now it's hailstones!
