now starring in S.W.O.R.D.


I rarely go out of my way to do free pr for major comics companies since I'm certainly not on that privileged list of reveiwers who get freebies however I saw the preview on Newsrama and felt I had to share. Yes Lockheed is back and Henry Gyrich is going to rue the day S.W.O.R.D. recruited this very fierce little space dragon! He's no mere pet and he's in a foul mood anyway since his pet human is still lost in space trapped inside a giant bullet.

I've have not been following the series but it should be worth at least taking a look at to watch Lockheed kicking butt alien and human!

Just seeing this image of Lockheed brought back fond images of X-men or eXcalibur issues that didnt feature techno-zombies! Grumble was a techno-organic virus really the only way Marvel could undo the Declamation Day overkill? ... and grumble then's DC (over)doing zombies to be followed by a maxiseries with the highly not original title of Brightest Day after Blackest Night. Sob ... shudder ... aaargh another week until the next Secret Six comes out.


Thank the Muses some fresh fiction came into the library this morning!

Hopefully S.W.O.R.D. will be a worthy venue for Lockheed!
