REJECT SHOP NOT

REJECT SHOP NOT

Why I willnt be shopping there anymore.

Occasionally I go into the Reject shop to buy Seeds and Garden Pots though I generally try to avoid "discount" and "junk" stores. However I doubt I'll be shopping at my local Reject store again due to the sociopathic behaviour of one particular staff member.

I say sociopathic cos this particular person is one of those individuals whose behavior shows why smokers lost their "rights" to smoke indoors.

This person frequently smokes in an area that's supposedly nonsmoking and is signed as such. Its on an access ramp at the back of the mall and many people use this instead of the steep steps.

It's not very wide and if anyone smokes there the smoke drifts along up down and across the whole ramp so you cant avoid it. There are non smoking signs however the sociopathic or is that psychotic and definitely irrational and illogical chain smokers who go out there insist every time I point out the sign that its "Not an enclosed area".

Cutting the story short this particular smoker works for a chain shop named above and she's ... an argument for nicotine not having any calming effects and that said individual would be better off spending their break getting a cool drink indoors sitting down.

I got fed up and complained to Security and the Concierge of the Mall . I also complained to the store figuring anyone that rude was probably bludging off their fellow workers or the workplace sociopathic bully as well? I have also tried to complain to their head office but the only contact details on their website was a phone number interstate.

From now on I'm not shopping there! Care to join me in a boycott?

Before any retail workers complain I would like to point out its the smoking I object to primarily and for health problems. My other reasons are this: the sociopath tried to claim to security I was harassing her well when she saw this time I really was going to complain to her store management and of course without telling security she was smoking in a non smoking area. She tried to make out I was some kind of crazy!

Let's see I have an M.A. in philosophy and I have avoid smoking since I lost three relatives who smoke to cancer. Well I do point out the presence of non smoking area signs to smokers ignoring them I tell them its for health reasons , theirs and mine. I have pointed out to them its would be much healthier to stay indoors in the cool air conditioning then out on the heat smoking. I've pleaded with them to consider reading the paper during their break instead of smoking.

Why do I think (chain) smokers are sociopathic or something. It doesn't seem to matter if I'm polite or aggro, reasonable or ironic, they have this delusion they have a right to smoke and see any area past the doors as being outdoors when actually the entire mall is suppose to be smoke free!

Maybe boycotting the store isn't logical either? Maybe?

But I want to enter a building to do essential food or other shopping without having to go around the long way that's exposed to the summer sun and has no shade.

Why should I have to walk thru their smoke clouds?

Why should I contribute my money to their wages?

I at the least avoid any store that I know employs the sort of smokers that are rude and chuck butts on the ground and stand next to non smoking signs. It may limit my shopping but that's the price of ethics. At least I have some. Many smokers dont seem to have any?

Care to join me in a boycott?
