Power black out haiku
February 25th 2007 04:48
Oh lovely NOT we had a power black out last night for three hours!
However I reaped some good form it ... one haiku and a chance to practice the ONE POINT of LIGHT meditation technique using a candle.
The haiku is not the standard 5 - 7- 5 syllable count
You cant always get that to work in English.
I have find it easier often to try to 6 / 9/ 6 though this one is 6 / 9/ 5
It's still raining ... I hope my basil and tomato seedlings out on the terrace dont drown!
The only plant we have that really thrives after storms is the frangipani!

No fire without darkness
At the heart of the flickering light
The Candle's burnt wick !
