Saint Porntip Anyone?
I'm thinking a certain mother elephant should be nominated for beatification at least since this is probably the current situation down at Taronga Zoo's elephant barn.
An irate mother elephant is making cranky noises as traumatized neurotic zookeepers hover around her calf whimpering everytime the poor thing so much as quivers.
Meanwhile hammering on the barn doors are irate zoo officials and news media.
Possibly angry cos they tripped over an discarded ultra sound machine and manual that needs fixing?
Some one screams back to them..
"Go away we're bonding with our baby."
Porntip snorts and rolls her eyes.
A faint noise vaguely like sniggering comes from Luk Chai's mom who's already been through all this fussing.
"Just one photo" screams a desperate PR rep!
Elephants and keepers crowd out the desperate pleas with a joint chorus of
"Oh what a beautiful baby!"
On a more serious and solemn note we hope and pray Porntip and offspring are doing well and continue to do so.
Best wishesas yet unnamed little one and respects to your mom our sensible and venerable herd matriarch Porntip!
