NO UGLY BETTE TONIGHT!!!

Aaaargh!!! I wonder why? Could it be that Chanel Seven (Sydney Australia) in its infinite wisdom or fear of offending whoever bought advertising time for that stupid quest for a Super Model took off BETTE cos they were afraid a satire of the fashion business might make people actually SHUDDER

Gotta "love" so called Free to Air TV! When I contemplate a hour of Search for a Super Model followed by TWO hours of Ghost Whisperer ugh ... I pray I'll found something interesting at the library and I'm glad I still have my emergency stack on unread books to work my way through.


(Note to readers of my other blog Books Well Read ... the type of books I'm reading at the moment regard slow careful thought and I also have been working longer hours this month hence the sparsity of book blogs!)

So gentle readers and my few but faithful subscribers why do you think Ugly Bette has been moved from Thursday and "re-scheduled" until later this summer?
