Newspapers - who reads hardcopy?
February 27th 2007 00:50
First off a minor note before I start the blog ... about the profile ... yes I still dont have an image ... the Edit Profile dialog claims I hadnt provided information but will not tell me which piece of info it 's lacking ... It now FINALLY accepts that I live in Australia but still will not show my gender and city or image ... maybe by the end of this week I'll have the profile up !!!
GRRR!
The Major topic
Newspapers - who reads hardcopy?
I have myself reading the morning headlines online cos my wireles service shows those of the Sydney Morning Herald on its homepage and then reading the hardcopy later.
Why??? for for one thing I like to do the puzzles.
I've been comparing the two versions!
Which is easier on the eye?
Seems to me reading the online version ... its too tempting NOT to be fully informed ...
to JUST skim over the headlines and maybe miss out on those interesting but still important minor stories that might only be a paragraph or two long but still important?
Are you a skimmer or a reader?
Do you prefer the online version or the hard copy?
and yes all these questions are an UNsubtle hint for FEEDBACK?
Not reading the hardcopy might save paper but now we have transmission towers sprouting from roof tops!
An improvement or not?
Next time another picture ... answer one of the questions and maybe I'll give you two pictures to loook at!
Enjoy!
