Justine Saunders died last week. This was a death that should have been front page news in Australia at least. She was one of our most celebrated and wellknown Aboriginal actresses noted for Women in the Sun and many other roles.
I had hoped to make this the subject of a blog last week but had broadband singal problems.
I notice none of the orble celebrity or fashion orgs seem to have mentioned her?
Yet she was also one of the first Aboriginals if not the first to work as a model!
Ah but she wasnt skinny and blonde or suffering from self induced stupidity from malnutrition
Justine should be been on page one or the front pages ... instead of having a brief bio on the back page of the SMH.
Justine Saunders ... google or wiki her name NOW!

I just googled her name and I quickly counted at least 30 hits all reporting her death.
She did make an impact.
