Hornsby Library Stock Sale
November 20th 2007 06:35
I live near Hornsby in the north of Sydney and our local library needs help!
Due to renovations starting in early December 2007 and limited storage space they need to clear out the shelves and store room to move books off the main floor so they can redo shelves and carpet and other stuff!
There's two weeks to go and they still have unsold books.
Folks I've spoken to the librarians and they really do need to clear lots of stock so practically anything that hasnt been read in the last few years is going hopefully to be replaced next year with new stock!
They have now reduced the prices to 20c and that includes hardbacks!
I cant say there will be great bargains but if you search the tables you should find one or two surprises and you'll be helping Hornsby Library!
There are newer books mixed in!
The books they have to clear are fiction and non fiction!
Hornsby Library is near Hornsby station so if you're shopping in Hornsby or parking in the shopping centre when you vote on Sunday drop into the library and help them empty the shelves!
