Bread and Honeycomb

December 11th 2009 22:56
Want to try something simple but exquisite?

Honeycomb on Turkish Bread!

There's a hot food shop in Liverpool Street in Sydney that as a sideline sells Turkish bread of the flat oval loaf with cumin and sesame seeds on top variety.

Get one of these or a similar Turkish or Afghani or other bread that or a roll that's firm on the outside but soft in the middle.

buy a jar of honey that has honeycomb in it!

I normally get plain honey but the person in the household who doesnt like honeycomb is away so I decided to treat myselfto a simple pleasure.

Honeycomb on fresh bread!

You get the contrast of crunch honeycomb with the smooth richness of honey contrasting with the firm yet soft bread and no need for butter!

Try it for a simple delicious and absolutely fabulous treat!
