Gimp and Cubism

Gimp and Cubism
Well the Cubism Filter.

I normally use the Cubism filter to create background files and textures but sometimes I apply it to text. You have to be careful with this one and this experiment needs to be continued but it looks like at this stage you can get interesting effects if you CAREFULLY apply drop shadow to SOLID type over the background. Se the first image the webheader file. You cant see the drop shadow on the small scale but its there blended in.

Here's my experiment results so far. I'm still refining the process.

Hope the images give you some good ideas?
