51: Mad money. Yes you would have to have a lot of it to buy all the items on her list and be mad to waste money on some of them!
52: Man's white shirt: Ifits a good highquality cotton. Certainly you should have one of two good white shirts in a plain if not a masculine cut, cotton and silk, and dark as well as white!
53: Mary Janes? Can some one translate this bit of fashionista slang?
54; Minnetonka moccassins. I dont live in the USa. Aussie readers might want to consider Rivers?
55: Missoni knit dress. A knit dress or a very long sweater yu can use as a minidress is useful for winter but be careful and honest. If you're full figured or plump please get a loose one with a Vneck?
56: Monogrammed Stationery? Buy some good pens learn calligraphy and develop a good signature or design your own logo with Gimp or Inkscape!
57: Motorcycle jacket? Yes a leather jacket is great in winter. It does block the chills but it doesnt have to be biker style!
58: Nail polish: Well if you have hours andhours to waste doing your nails ...
59: Old concert Tshirt Duh yes date yourself and let everyone know what your good or bad taste in music is!
60: One piece swimsuit: Just make sure the cut suits your torso and you can actually swim in it!
61: Pea coat They do look better than cheap anoraks?
62: Pearl necklace Wow Nina did you inherit serious money? If you do afford genuine pearls yes but a single strand long is probably best?
63: Pencil skirt: For sadomasochists who prefer hobbling to walking.
64: Perfume: Flaming obvious!
65: Pique polo shirt. If you do not play polo you do not need a polo style sports shirt.
66: Piece of Pucci? ???
67: Plain white tee. Several please! Buy good cotton that lasts!
68: Push up bra OH please push up bras say you are insecure about your breasts!
69: Pyjamas Personally I recommend Peter Alexander.
70: Quality Champagne ... and good green tea and real dark chocolate!
71: Red lipstick. There are many shades of red. Get one that matches your skin and age.
Neither too orange or pink and be careful with your lipliner!
72: Robe. The prices sadly have gone up but if you can get one I recommend a Japanese kimono or a cotton yugata.
73: Safari jacket Duh are you going on safari?
74: Sandals well its obvious since good sandals do look better than thongs!
75: Sarong. Try to get a good Balinese or Indonesian cotton ikat one. They will last for years and can double as a throw or shawl or scarf or wrap!
76: Signet ring. Too pretentious!
77: Silk scarf But oh course and as many as possible!
78: Slippers. Protect your feet from the cold!
79: Spanx underwear ???
80: Statement necklace. If its a good design and suits you and your clothes it is a statement about your taste. If. Unofortunately some people think statment means bling ... in the worse possible expression of bling.
81: Stilettos. Yes a pair of hidden stiltettos could be useful to defending yourself against rapists muggers and a certain kind of taxi driver. Oh she means what I call BDSM heels?
82: Striped sailor sweater. I do have a dark blue and white striped Regatta cotton knit sweater / top!
83: Suit. Only if you can afford a well cut one that matches your body shape.
84: Sun hat. Flaming obvious
85: Trench ? Presumably coat? Is it waterproof? Yes.
86: Turquoise jewellery. I'm Australian. I say buy OPAL!
87: Tuxedo Jakcet. Ugh only for the very slim and tall!
88: Uggs if they're Aussie made and not a chinese ripoff!
89: Umbrella Flaming obvious!
90: Underwear. Only in the dpeths of summer can one justify going without both a bra and undies but if you do so please dont wear transparent clothing!
91: Valid passort. Useful for ID checks if you dont have a drivers license!
92: Vans Vans what dear???
93: Vintage. Yes it is worthwhile hunting for vintage retro jewellery and clothing!
94: Watch? Why would you not have a watch?
95: Wayfarers ? What ?
96: Wellingtons. Waterproof your boots whatever you buy! They will last longer.
97: Wideleg trousers. As soon as I can find some I can afford that are not cut for people with tiny waists!
98: Wrap dresses: Oh dear. Another you need the right body shape garment?
99: Yoga gear. Does help at the gym or for walking? Avoid three quarter length unless you have great legs!
100: Ziplock bags. We need to be told this?

I will read the whole book if a reviewer sends me a copy or the library gets it as I would like to see from the list as quoted what explanations she gives for her choices>
