GAIA's STILL not Happy
Here's the latest report and record of her weekly speech to the Planet Earth School of Hominids Evolving far too slowly.
AFRICA! Are you paying attention? I understand certain gangs have been breaking into the girls' room AGAIN! You complain when I send in school security and claim you can police yourself but still cant manage.
Don't snicker boys. Did I hear some one mutter about traditional culture and women's rights being a stupid naive Western concept. Right well while we are on the subjects of rights maintaining traditional customs does not mean going into the school's Tropical forest preserve with machetes and reducing the primate population. Learn to eat chicken and like it!
Which brings me to Asia House. Particularly the Japan wing. Just because you have a tradition of fishing and seafood doesn't mean you can catch and eat every fish and cetacean in the bay fronting your wing of the school. The dolphins and whales are complaining. And yes they are sentient. Do you people want to reborn as hungry ghosts?
Asia house. Ah China. Stop sending letters to my office about the Tibetan chaplains visiting the Taiwan wing chapels. Like it or not the Taiwan wing can let whoever it wants use their chapels for Buddhist services. Speaking of chapels claiming anyone who criticizes your plans for the Uighur rooms is an Islamic terrorist is just not believable. Ms Kaider has the right to visit other rooms and wings and it might be a good idea if the overflow of Han students into the Central Asian wings of Asia house took the time to add local languages to their study schedule. I cant imagine why the students are so upset that you expect them to learn Chinese and turn into good little Han while you cant be bothered to learn more than a few words of Uighur or any other Turkic language.

Fix the Darling and Murray and the housing problems. Both the urban ones and the housing for the People of the Dreaming. I want to see more decent low income affordable housing and less coastal developments that only the upper middle class can even think about buying into.
Europe. Yes where is Greece. Still putting out the summer fires? Perhaps its about time you considering a no smoking policy and stop "replanting" the original "classical" forests with flammable pine. The hills and Mountains of Attica and Arcadia were covered with MIXED forest. More oaks populars ash (the tree not the residue) and less pine boys.
On the subject of trees. Will some one please explain why Israel hates olive trees? No I dont believe the Arab students should be forced to move to the Jordanian rooms or elsewhere to make more room for the sort of religious maniac who thinks killing trees and throwing stones is acceptable behaviour. More time studying logic please.
Consider this. You claim those Arabs were not there when you took over the Palestine rooms. How did the Olive trees get into the gardens then? They take hundreds of years to grow! And reclaiming land form the desert does not mean taking sections of the communal gardens that were farms and meadows and planting trees.
Believe it or like not I like humans and trees too. Killing olive trees in one area and replanting the wrong sort of trees in farming areas is NOT maintaining the ecological balance.
