E-card Demo
One of a Series
Making e-cards.
Whatever program you use Gimp or another select a card template.
Maybe A6 landscape or 800 x 1200. Do you plan to print it out on paper?
Set the dpi for 200 or 150 instead of 72.
Remember to check the the ACTUAL print size again when you finish.
Select a pattern any pattern you like. I recommend a texture or fractal myself. Modify the color or add a filter like mosaic or ripple or see what happens if you add emboss or blur ? Overlie two or three different filters or plugins. If you've used any semi transperency effects don't forget to blend or anchor the layers.
NEXT ... time we add more to this meanwhile you can download it copy and save and play with it yourself ...
I'm using GIMP on windows cos I'm still saving up to buy a new MAC proBook and the latest version of the Adobe suite.
It's Xmas would you like to help me? I still have a couple of hundred more dollars to go ... and I just lost a week of work due to illness by a relative.
There was going to be a paypal link here but the server placed an ad there instead.
That so doesnt help me earn money for ANY charities or myself !
