Fly Undone, Whitehead, Bad Breath, Bogey, Female Moustaches, when do you tell?

It is really difficult to hold a conversation with anyone who has their fly undone. When do you tell them? How do you tell them?
I last night was at a pub with a group of people and the female friend that I am only really a friend of a friend of had a big whitehead on her face. Do you say anything? I didn't.
Sometimes it is better not to say anything. I find the best method of deducing what to do depends on two things. How well you know them and how badly the bogey hanging out the nostril is going to stiffle them socially. The bogey is difficult and along with the fly, is definitely worth telling them if you are good buddies, but best if done in a light hearted way. Offering to fix the problem with a comment like "Here have a breath mint" is a non offensive way of telling them they have bad breath.
Moustaches on females is a difficult one that I leave to female friends to bring up. As a male it is definitely not my domain to raise the issue. It is more difficult because it is not as easily solved as a fly undone and is more obvious because it is so big.
I say with your mates, tell them, but if it is female moustaches, leave that to other females. If you are not the best of mates, use your judgement.
