FALSE IDS and Anonymity
When are they ethical?
When are they ethical?
I'm still thinking about this for 2 reasons.
ONE Accusations that Blogger Amina Amina Arraf is NOT a REAL person and is using a false ID and stolen photos.
TWO The whole problem with Anonymous critics.
Okay about Issue One several people on the list she once posted to have been analyzing her blogs and Internet persona and have concluded she's using a proxy server to protect her ID and location and that her recent and older posts and style has coherence and consistency.
I just did a Google search on the Jelena Leic who claims her photos were used and there's less info available on her then there is on Amina.
If Amina has altered her ID its for self protection.
Please remember who ever is behind the blogs is living in a country where certain sections of the Security Forces have been known to arrest people just for protesting.
Whatever the truth is remember people are being arresting for being at a protest!
I'll be keeping an eye on this issue and reporting back to you when I have some solid data.
TWO
Anonymous has posted a couple of comments I've ignored.
Unlike Amina you have no good reason to use a False ID or NO ID.
You also don't seem to have noticed while I do satire sometimes I rarely do negative reviews. You however can't find even ONE single GOOD thing to say? Not one single thing?
I've been tempted several times to use a fictional persona but I don't?
For all I know you could be an AI persona registered on this blog server by some one running an experiment.
You want me to stop doing art or anything else online?
Fine find me an employer who doesnt care I have a damaged shoulder after my arm fracture last year or that I can't type any faster than 45 wpm and don't have a great phone voice.
And why are you bothering to read any of my blogs if you loathe them so much?
Go and find someone else to annoy!
Neither of us have major problems compared to protestors willing to risk be arrested over in Syria.
Perhaps you should be blogging on Syrian political reform since whoever Amina really is she cant post her blogs due to being under arrest or in hiding?
Unless you can't back up your views and opinions with evidence or live in a country where they torture dissidents I see no reason for anonymity?
Can anyone make a case for anonymity? Using your "real" ID please?

That is up to you, like it is up to EVERYONE on the planet. No one gets jobs handed to them. I didn't. I worked hard and found one, I didn't just moan about a bad arm or not having a good voice. Don't make excuses.
Re-read the anonymous posts. No one said anything negative to you! You just twisted it that way because you are a very aggressive and angry person who feels they are entitled to something, rather than trying hard to earn it. Or realising you won't get it, so you should refocus your passion elsewhere.
