Deep Pockets
Deep pockets. In Clothing. Are there ANY designers or manufacturers of clothing who favor them and include them in their clothing range without adding 20 - 50 dollars to the price of a garment?
I'm tired of trying on pants trousers shorts or jean that have what seem to be well cut and inserted pockets and the pockets turn out to be illusions, a decorative slit to emphasize a hip, or so uselessly shallow anything larger than say a tissue or a five cent piece falls out of them. Thereby leading to the loss of such items as rail tickets (which happened to me this morning) or keys or coinage and other items.
Why are designers so convinced a deep practical functional pocket spoils the line of a garment. it could be argued having to have an extra large handbag to carry everything that could go into a pocket also spoils the line of a garment apart from the inconvenience of groping into the depths of one's handbag cos you had four separate smaller bags or wallets into the bag cos the @@$%@#%$ handbag didnt have enuff internal pockets... or they were all shallow and too small too!
Oh for deep large pockets! In garments and bags!
