Looks harmless doesn't it! A dear sweet pure as white snow birdie with a beautiful sulphur yellow crest and they make such lovely ... PESTS!
Ever checked your pot plants or small bushes and found them mysteriously squashed as if something had sat on them? Well it was probably something avian like this!
Yesterday I heard the sound the sound of cockatoo wings rustling as they landed and looked out the terrace door plannning to gently shoo them away before they pooped on the tiles. This time they're NOT resting on the rails but one of them was literally inside the large pot in which I have a mixture of very small tomatos, sage, and a few other bits and pieces. I catch him or her opening that large beak about to tear off chunks of greenery!
Sulphur crested cockatoos! Cockies they're such dear sweet lovely destructive birds!
They should be breed maybe hybridized with keas and turned into biological weapons!
Nuclear bombs worry you! The prospect of terrorists releasing gas or viruses?
No be afraid very afraid and very glad no one has thought of never releasing large flocks of cockatoos over cities as weapons! MMM perhaps we could send some over to Afghanistan? The Taliban might soon literally have NO ROOFS over their heads?
