This image was inspired by a haiku written by Chiyo
Wakakusa ya kirema kirema ni mizu no iro
Seen through the spaces between the blades fo the green grasses the color of water!
Illustrations to Haiku are known as Haiga in Japanese and often done in a awatercolor style known as nanga or bunjinga. The style I used for this was influenced by nanga witha touch of rimpa added.
