Butterfly ... not in the Garden!

Can anyone guess where I saw and photographed this Butterfly?
Not in a Garden or the local bushland!
I saw this lovely butterfly while I was walking to Hornsby station to catch a train and fortunately I had the camera with me so snapped this!
Does anyone know what species of butterfly it is?
