Blogging on ...

Aaaargh I have no blog ideas! Its been that kind of week so I'm going to the bookcase next to the desk the laptop sits on and I'm picking up the ....

OH NO ITS THE CONCISE OXFORD DICTIONARY!!!

Yes folks I'm so stuck for ideas I'm going to try bibliomancy!

So opening a page at random my eyes fall on the word ...

PIT duh how ironic thats where my brain is stuck PIT???

Pit OE pytt OS putti OHG pfuzzi from Latin puteus well.

Well. Thats' what I need to find a Source or Spring or Inspiration!

Okay lets try another page.

Seraph better Seraph one of the highest order of ninefold celestial hierarchy gifted especially with love and associated with light ardour and purity.

From Late Latin From Greek From Hebrew Seraphim Plural of SARAPH.

Lucky Last. A rara avis QUITTANCE
Archaic Poetic Release from something. From ME from OF quitance from the verb quiter which comes from Latin Quietus and Quiscere.

And having climed up out of the pit and found my spring of inspiration for some word play I will make my quittance from blogging for the day perhaps to contemplate angels?

Gentle and FAR TOO QUIET readers and lurkers you can play with the words I found!

Hi Scholia,
Loved the post, Ive been their myself.

Last night I had a blog all planned but then Disney show tunes invaded my brain and I had to write about them. Sometime the best blog comes from whatsright in front of you.

Hi Julie,

Writers block sucks bigtime!! I like the words you came across in the ol' dictionary. Seraph. I'm sure there was a character called Seraph in a book I read not that long ago......now it's going to irritate me all day until I can remember the book.

Well thanks for that! haha.

HI Scholia,

also been there and I loved your approach... Angels and Quitters Huh? Hmm let me see all stuck in the pit together? *chuckle* There is a lot to be said for Bibliomancy...

As for writers block?

Best thing is to walk away... although I have found that for me, rotating three blogs of equal interest, the timing works well enough for life to have caught inbetween to offer 'new' material... usually *lol* hang in there, it'll shift soon, just ring a friend or family members and you'll have oodles to choose from.

Ironically so much comes from our opinions on real life, doesn't it?
