Australian Murray Valley Pork

Looking for a meat treat?
Looking for something special to eat? Like meat?
(Vegetarians please do not complain - for metabolic reasons I need a high protein diet and tofu as a regular dietary item just does not work for me )
You want something like steak and look desperately at the price of Tbone or lamb racks and you're sick of chicken?
Here's something simple for a special Sunday.
Try Murray Valley Pork Butterfly cut "steaks".
Yes they're not the cheapest cuts but they're cheaper than t-bone beef, tasty and GENUINELY TENDER!
I buy them about once a month when I have the money.
They're easy to cook and have just enuff fat on the edges to crisp up nicely.
Dont forget to cut slices across the fat and rub salt into the fat to help it crisp!
I cooked ours with a little sprinkle of Thai seasoning and a fresh side salad with chutney.
A simple but splendid Sunday meal!
