UnSAINTly apPAuLling Boys
and HOW to deal with them.
Yes this is a blog about those college boys. The ones described in the Sydney Morning Herald. Who attend a certain elite Sydney University Residential College. Who apparently believe women at college should only be sex workers or cleaners and cooks. Despite the fact many of them may actually have sisters and mothers?
Here's some advice to women and girls attending those colleges.
Support alcohol free events. There are ways to have fun without alcohol!
Organise film or video or romance nights. It appears many of these guys need remedial courtship tuition? Or are arguments for compulsory sex education.
Example:
A certain female anatomical part may be an opening but it is not a "HOLE" .
Support and do not avoid or label as prudes any sensible (older) students who have been warned or observed what goes on and try to stop certain kinds of behaviour before it gets out of hand.
If any student complains about "noise" in an attempt to stop certain kinds of room parties and other college events turning into "unpleasant" activities do not support the boys and any party animals who join their group by making into counter complaints claiming the sensible studnet makes more noise complaining.
Otherwise one night you or a friend may be the one desperately hoping the college "killjoy" gets fed up and start hammering on the door or goes and gets the tutor.
Mentor younger students and warn them which guys to avoid.
Perhaps by setting up a FACEBOOK page?
Have all female meetings about what's going on.
Do not defend guys because they are relatives or family friends or they seem okay when they're sober or because you're thinking of "reforming" them by marriage.
Buckets of water. Very cold water. Or a spray gun.
Zero tolerance of any kind of harassment bullying or racism, open or subtle.
Or possibly leave on masse and move over to Wesley?
Oh and before anyone asks ...Yes I have lived in a college residential dorm and observed what goes on though not that college or university.
