Another Australian Celebrity is Dead!
Fifi a noted A-list socialite whose image and high PR profile was used by her many friends and admirers to raise money for Sydney's Taronga Zoo died this week.
Surrounded by her immediate family at her palatial home with its famous harbor views she passed away peacefully in her 60s in the comfort of her own bedroom.
She was noted for her parenting skills and was a great grandmother with a large family.
Her PR people have asked for donations to be sent to the ZOO rather than any Floral or fruit tributes!
Alright all you Sydneysiders can stop laughing!

I should explain or rather confess here that FIFI was the matriarch of Taronga Park Zoo's chimpanzee clan! In a week in which the media have frothed about Harry Potter and recently deceased radio "personaltiies" I wanted to draw attention to a life of quiet achievement even if it was non human!
Now there was also this guy called Eric, another Celebrity who passed away recently, who many Sydney siders may have met on school excursions. A tearaway deliquent in his youth in the NT he became a revered popular figure beloved by many children and adults after his move to Gosford.
Any one care to say a kind word about Eric?
Even if he was rather cold blooded?
Eric and Fifi rest in peace!
