Dear Kev ... about the neighbour's uncle
Can something be done about the neighbours nasty uncle Bashir?
you know the nasty old religious crank over on Java Street?
Apparently he has been taped down at the community centre describing our part of our wonderful multi-ethinic suburb as slugs maggots and other lower life forms. Not very PC.
Yes I know some of the family should be banned from the community Bali Memorial recreational aqua sports centre for fashion crimes ... Aunt Doreen in her cossies and young Kylie who both definitely seem to have been eating too many Maccas with an untanned midriff are a pretty frightening sight and as for Uncle Bruce with a tinnie strolling on the beach or around the pool ... yes well I can understand the sight would disturb many people but they certainly were not "naked".
However the problem isnt just Nasty Uncle Bashir ranting again ... rumor has it ... or more than rumor if you can trust the local paper who are desperate for headlines ... well this time Unlce Bashir has been telling the younger men in his family that they should bash up any members of our family who visit their part of the neighbourhood!
This could cause trouble. People are still pointing fingers about that drive by shooting over on Timor Street.
So as a community leader Kev do you know anyone who speaks Javanese and can go around and tell Uncle Bashir to put a sock in it and just shut up especially seeing as he doesnt even use the aquasports centre anyway!
Freedom of speech is not freedom to incite crimes !
